Facilities include:LIBRARY-The modern well equipped library contains 18,000 books for lending and 2,000 reference works. the mezzanine floor is equipped with carrels for individual study. CD-ROM and Photocopying facilities are available for student use, and library staff are always on hand to assist with enquiriesREFECTORY- The college refrectory situated in Dam Park, provides a full range of meals and snacks throughout the day, a more limited service operates in our annexesNURSERY- The nursery offers childcare in a safe and stimulating environment. Information about the facilities and availability of places can be obtained from the Nursery Co-ordinator Tel: 0800 199 798FLEXIBLE LEARNING CENTRE- Located within Ayr College, the centre provides learning by a variety of media, ie computer based learning, online learning via theinternet, CD-ROM, video, as well as by traditional methods. Resources at FLC:- 20 PCs, using Windows 98- Free interner access on all work stations- Audio Video Play facilities- Online learning learning directory - CD-ROMs- Commercial software (includes Self Teach Course Notes)SELF STUDY-The college has a self study area with internet access available to all Ayr College students free of charge, the area is open between 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday - Thursday and 9.00am - 4.00pm on FridayDisabled access is available throughout the College, with only part of the Cumnock Building unsuitable.
