Course description:
If your first language is not English and you are hoping to study Social Sciences at the LSE or another UK University you could consider our English Foundation courses to bring your English up to the level required. Each 10 week programme (take three for a year long course) gives you 200 contact hours which in general will improve your IELTS score by 0.5. So, if you need 6.5 by the beginning of October and you already have an IELTS score of 5.5 you should be able to estimate how many of our programmes you need. Please note this course is purely an English for academic purposes course and not an access course.
Entry requirements:
Participants should not be mother-tongue speakers of English and should have satisfied the minimum level requirement in English.
