This course develops knowledge and understanding of the concepts of biology. It covers the topics such as inheritance, evolution, ecosystem, genetics, biochemistry of photosynthesis and respiration. After completion of this course students can move to careers such as medicine, dentistry, environmental studies or science education.

Students must possess a minimum double award science at higher tier or GCSE grade B in biology and GCSE grade C in maths
